The National Research Compounds Institute was established around a single problem: research-compound commerce was being conducted without shared standards for identification, documentation, or professional conduct. Our first answer to that problem was education — a structured curriculum and the Certified Research Compound Sales Professional (CRCSP) credential, built to give the field a common baseline.

That work remains the backbone of the organization. What changed is the scope. Certified professionals and the organizations employing them needed more than a credential: they needed catalog materials presented to a consistent specification, documentation attached to the batch it belongs to, and an ordering process that could be verified rather than improvised.

So the institute expanded. Today the platform connects research purchasing, product documentation, wholesale access and professional standards in one system. Buyers source materials through a structured catalog. Documentation is indexed against catalog and lot references. Wholesale accounts are verified before approval. And certification is now part of an account record rather than a separate exercise.

Certification was the foundation. The platform is the evolution.
